Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Security Management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a guard management platform offering shift scheduling, attendance tracking, real-time monitoring, incident management, and related tools for security organisations. Features are provided on an "as available" basis and may change over time.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. Accounts may not be shared. Each user must have their own account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; transmit malware or disruptive code; scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract data; impersonate other users; or interfere with the Service's proper operation.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. We do not claim intellectual property rights over your operational data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service. You can export your data at any time and we will delete it upon account closure per our Privacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance is performed during low-traffic windows with at least 48 hours notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet infrastructure failures, force majeure events, or third-party service outages.

7. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Failure to pay may result in service suspension. Free trial accounts are subject to usage limits specified at signup.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Data is retained for 90 days post-termination to allow export.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days notice for material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
